Got a burning question for your favorite Star Trek author? If you're in the New York City area, you're in luck.

New York is Book Country (NYIBC), a non-profit organization that promotes the joy of reading and writing, has a Trek-related panel set for this Friday night (September 19). "Star Trek: From Screen to Page" will take place at the New York University Center for Publishing, Room 1027 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The center is located at 11 West 42nd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The panel discussion and Q&A will feature authors Keith R.A. DeCandido, Michael Jan Friedman, Dave Stern and editors Margaret Clark and John J. Ordover. Tom Maddox, author and Gotham Writers Workshop Science Fiction writing instructor, will moderate.
