Zachary Quinto, the actor set to play Spock in the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek movie, has signed on to be the first actor from the film to make an appearance at a Creation convention. Slated for the April 11-13, 2008 Grand Slam in Burbank, Quinto will be the event's headliner. Voyager's Roxann Dawson is also scheduled to appear. More names will be added in the months to come, so be sure to check the Creation Entertainment website for updates.

As the biggest name in Star Trek conventions, Creation has a history of featuring new cast members at their events. Quinto will therefore be following in the footsteps of many great actors. Of course, Zachary already has a large following in the sci fi set due to his role on the NBC hit Heroes.
