Having released lovingly sculpted figures from Enterprise and "Star Trek Nemesis," Art Asylum is now preparing a new line that should be popular with longtime Trekkers: toys inspired by the Original Series.

The initial offering of 7-inch classic Trek figures includes James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Uhura and supervillain Khan. All characters appear as they did on TOS. "Without question this is what everyone has been waiting to see and we're very proud of the offering," said Art Asylum President Digger in a press release. "Being a serious Classic Trek fan myself, this was really something I've always wanted to do. I feel we put our best foot forward on this line and I think the fans will be pleased."
