The wait for
Star Trek gamers is over, as Activision and Ritual Entertainment's highly anticipated "Star Trek Elite Force II" has officially gone gold (video game industry jargon for "it's ready!") and is headed to stores and ultimately gamers themselves.
The Star Trek: The Next Generation-universe set game is a sequel to the Star Trek: Voyager-based original "Elite Force," and while a few of the characters remain the same from the first game, this version is packed with new foes, allies, weapons and settings for the first-person action game. Also, this release will feature multiplayer modes such as Holomatch, Team Holomatch and Capture the Flag, along with modifying elements to go with these.
