Break out the streamers and confetti — March boasts a plethora of notable Star Trek birthdays. Be sure to watch STARTREK.COM throughout the month for special birthday features on the various Trek individuals celebrating another year.

James Doohan ("Montgomery Scott") and Jolene Blalock ("T'Pol") celebrate within days of each other — March 3 and March 5, respectively. Mid-month features a special day for Enterprise chief engineer Connor Trinneer ("Charles 'Trip' Tucker III"), who celebrates on March 19. Also, be sure to raise a glass of blood wine on March 18 for J.G. Hertzler ("Martok"). We're not sure how (or if) the Q Continuum celebrates birthdays, but feel free to partake in traditional human birthday rites on March 20 in honor of John de Lancie ("Q").

Old friends and Original Series co-stars William Shatner ("James T. Kirk") and Leonard Nimoy ("Spock") also have birthdays within days of each other — Shatner celebrates on March 22, while Nimoy blows out the candles on March 26. And finally, don't forget to wish Marina Sirtis ("Deanna Troi") happy birthday on March 29.
