Kudos to Cattrall
Congratulations to Kim Cattrall, better known to Trek fans as Spock's protege Valeris in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country." Cattrall took home a best supporting actress Golden Globe for her work as the randy Samantha on HBO's Sex and the City. "I never expected to have a career in my 40s," Cattrall told reporters backstage, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "The amount of job opportunities I had was cut in half, the agency I had wasn't even interested in me anymore, and even I believed the myth that women are not supposed to be sexy in their 40s. That is why I am so proud and pleased to play characters like this one that breaks stereotypes."
