Spiner Guests on Frasier

UPDATE: The following episode, titled "Lilith Needs a Favor," is scheduled to air Tuesday, February 4, at 9:00 p.m./8:00 Central (check your local listings for airtimes).

Normally, we like to present a "Did You See ..." piece that showcases a special guest appearance or Star Trek reference in a non-Trek related setting. This time, it's more like a "Watch Out For ...!"

Last night at Paramount, Brent Spiner taped a guest appearance on Frasier portraying a somewhat pale, nervous airline passenger that subtly pokes fun at his Data character from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Without giving away too much of this episode — scheduled to air on NBC during February sweeps — Frasier's ex-wife Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth) is traveling to Seattle to meet her former husband and request a special "favor." En route she meets Spiner's character, a physicist named Albert, who happens to be traveling to Seattle from Boston in the hopes of relocating with a new job. We can tell you this much: The two share a similar complexion, and the humor is on the ... uh, shall we say, "lighter" side. See the episode in February and you will know what we mean!

Guest star Neuwirth is also known to Trek fans as Lanel, from the TNG episode "First Contact."
