In the days drawing up to "Star Trek Nemesis,"
Patrick Stewart ("
Jean-Luc Picard") will give
Star Trek: The Next Generation fans a brief retrospective into previous "nemeses" by hosting a "Villains" marathon on TNN.
The four-day primetime "Villains" Marathon will be broadcast from Tuesday, December 10 through Friday, Dec. 13, opening day for Star Trek's highly-anticipated tenth film.
As host of the marathon, Stewart will introduce 16 episodes featuring some of the most infamous villains the U.S.S. Enterprise-D crew encountered during the series seven-year run, including Q, the Borg, Klingons, Cardassians, Romulans and Sherlock Holmes' own nemesis, Professor Moriarty. As a plus, Stewart will also discuss and provide insights into "Nemesis" as it beams into theaters.
In conjunction with the marathon, TNN will offer an exclusive online sweepstakes where viewers will have the opportunity to win a three-day trip to Kennedy Space Center in Cocoa Beach, FL. The highlight of the trip is a special tour of the Space Center and viewing of a space shuttle launch with an active NASA astronaut.
