Creation Entertainment raises the heat once again for their Official 4th Annual Star Trek Las Vegas Convention 2005, a four-day event on August 11 - 14. With four of the five captains scheduled to attend, this event promises to be h-o-t!

As always the convention will take place at the Las Vegas Hilton, home to Star Trek: The Experience. The beauty of this venue is that you can attend the biggest convention of the year and have plenty of opportunity to go on the two Star Trek attractions, "Klingon Encounter" and "Borg Invasion 4D." (If that isn't enough, you can also pay homage to the statue of Elvis Presley in the lobby. The King performed exclusively in Vegas at the Hilton back in the '70s.)

William Shatner (Kirk), Patrick Stewart (Picard), Avery Brooks (Sisko) and Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) will all be speaking and signing autographs, along with other luminaries such as Brent Spiner (Data), Jolene Blalock (T'Pol), Marina Sirtis (Troi), Michael Dorn (Worf), Nana Visitor (Kira), John de Lancie (Q), LeVar Burton (La Forge), Armin Shimerman (Quark) and many, many more.

There will be some evening festivities too. Creation Entertainment will be hosting the "world premiere" of "Star Trek: The Concert," featuring 45 distinguished members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Special guest Star Trek performers will be on hand, plus famed composer Dennis McCarthy will be conducting some of his own works from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and "Star Trek Generations."

STARTREK.COM will also be in Vegas for the four days to report on events, update fans on the status of the site and show some documentaries and special clips.
