Veteran actor and Original Series alum Tony Young passed away February 26 due to lung cancer at the age of 64. Young appeared on Star Trek in the episode "Elaan of Troyius," playing the treacherous Kryton.
Young's television and film career spanned four decades and includes dozens of credits on shows ranging from westerns (Bronco, Wagon Train, Maverick, The Virginian, Cheyenne) to cop shows (Mannix, The Streets of San Francisco, S.W.A.T., Starsky and Hutch, The Rookies) to science-fiction and fantasy (Quantum Leap, Knight Rider, Fantasy Island).
Young was the son of radio-age star Carleton G. Young and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
