Several performances of the critical and box-office smash "Tea at Five" starring
Kate Mulgrew (
Star Trek: Voyager's Captain
Kathryn Janeway) were cancelled during the show's original run due to illness, but a limited amount tickets are now available for a short extension of the show's run.
Scheduled for April 7 through April 13 at Connecticut's Hartford Stage, tickets and Standing Room Only passes for the extra performances of Mulgrew's one-woman show, written by Matthew Lombardo and based on the life of Katherine Hepburn, are going fast.
With further performances of the show not scheduled due to Mulgrew's commitment to campaigning for her husband Tim Hagan's Ohio gubernatorial bid, these few performances will be the last chance to see the show for at least six months.
Anyone interested in next week's make-up extension needs to act quickly by calling the Hartford Stage box office at (860) 527-5151, or visiting the Hartford Stage site below.
