Scott Bakula ("Captain Jonathan Archer") is headed for Fifth Avenue. The current captain of the
Enterprise is scheduled to make an appearance in New York City at the Rockefeller Center Barnes & Noble bookstore, 600 Fifth Avenue, on Monday, February 11th.
Appearing only between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m., Bakula will be signing copies of Diane Carey's adaptation of the series pilot, "Broken Bow," entitled "Enterprise - Broken Bow: A Novel," as well as "Enterprise - By the Book," an original novel featuring the Enterprise crew in a brand new adventure written by Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch.
Fans should note that Bakula will be signing the aforementioned novels only.
"Enterprise - Broken Bow: A Novel" tells the story of the Enterprise NX-01's launch following Earth's first, nearly fatal encounter with a Klingon. In "Enterprise - By the Book," Captain Jonathan Archer and the crew of the Enterprise NX-01 encounter a race known as the Fazi, whose highly regulated culture ranges from stringent conversation rules to rigid building edicts. After a disastrous first encounter with the leader of the Fazi, Archer must rely on T'Pol and Hoshi to better relations and solve an intriguing mystery surrounding this strange new race.
