The surviving cast members of Star Trek's Original Series will all be in Sacramento in a few weeks, as the Creation Salute to Star Trek Convention rolls into California's capital city.

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of Star Trek, the convention will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center on February 9 and 10, 2002, featuring William Shatner ("James T. Kirk") and Leonard Nimoy ("Spock") together onstage on Saturday the 9th. Scheduled to appear the next day are James Doohan ("Scotty"), Nichelle Nichols ("Uhura"), Walter Koenig ("Chekov"), George Takei ("Sulu"), Majel Barrett Roddenberry ("Christine Chapel," "Lwaxana Troi") and Grace Lee Whitney ("Janice Rand").

The convention will also feature trivia and costume contests, a rare merchandise auction, plus an exhibit hall featuring Star Trek merchandise and collectibles.
