The first behind-the-scenes footage from the tenth
Star Trek feature film, "Star Trek: Nemesis," will air this evening on
Entertainment Tonight along with on-set interviews with
Patrick Stewart (
Captain Jean-Luc Picard),
Jonathan Frakes (
Will Riker) and
Marina Sirtis (
Deanna Troi).
The ET segment reveals that in "Nemesis," Riker and Troi get married. "Finally got him," Sirtis says. "I should say, he finally got me." Footage of the actors playing out their scenes on the Enterprise-E show Michael Dorn as Worf, Brent Spiner as Data, and the other characters talking about the Romulans and a related species, the Remans. Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher) and LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge) are also seen. (Please check your local listings for airtimes.)
In a preview feature on ET Online, Stewart speaks from the Bridge set about the ship and about the villainous elements of "Nemesis." Reiterating that Romulans will be involved in the story, Stewart says, "The Romulans have historically been the bad guys in the Star Trek franchise," adding, "However, it's possible they are not the major threat in this movie."
The ET Online story further notes that in addition to the main cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation reprising their roles, the film will feature cameos from some other familiar faces including Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) and Star Trek: Voyager's Kate Mulgrew (Captain Kathryn Janeway).
