There's almost nothing the Internet can't do these days; the latest function garnering buzz being the "podcast," a TiVo-like application where you can download (or stream if you prefer) and listen to commentaries, broadcasts or other special Internet-only shows at your convenience on a computer or a portable digital player such as the popular iPod.
STARTREK.COM makes its first foray into podcasting with our exclusive "In a Mirror, Darkly" audio commentary featuring episode writer Mike Sussman and the site's editorial director Tim Gaskill.
How it Works
To get the maximum benefit out of your podcast experience, we suggest you take the following steps:
- Tape or TiVo the episode on UPN this Friday night (please check your local listings for time). We encourage you to watch the episode first...
- Then download the commentary in either MP3, QuickTime or Windows Media format. Click here for the audio commentary.
- Replay the episode and simultaneously listen to the commentary, either on your computer or digital media player. We provide cues for the ad breaks, so you should be able to follow along with the episode.
