A piece of communications equipment used by the women living on the second planet of the Taurean system. This device was capable of sending faster-than-light signals across many light-years of interstellar space, and delivered an irresistible "siren song? that ineluctably drew male humanoids to the Taurean planet. On stardate 5483.7 (2269), the women on the Taurean world used this device to lure the U.S.S. Enterprise's male officers to their world in an attempt to drain and consume their life energies.
