The generic name of an armed, warp-capable vessel that forms a major component of the Andorian Imperial Guard fleet. Its technology capabilities exceed that of the NX-01 in maximum warp speed and sensors, and it has a tractor beam and internal forcefields. It also has escape pods and at least three cargo holds, as well as a standard humanoid-layout bridge — a forward viewscreen and a central command chair surrounded by consoles and crew — and an adjoining commander's ready room.
