Barclay's assignment in 2367 just prior to the Enterprise, it ferried Vulcan Ambassador T'Pel to the Enterprise before she was revealed as a deep-cover, long-time Romulan spy. Two years later the starship dropped off at least five science teams aboard the Enterprise to study the unchartered Phoenix Cluster, including two exobiologists and three stellar cartographers.
