A genetically-enhanced human, Patrick found himself under the care of Dr. Karen Loews. Docile and sensitive, in 2375, Patrick escaped to Deep Space Nine. He fled Loews' questionable care with fellow enhanced humans -- Jack, Lauren and Sarina -- to seek help from fellow enhanced human, Dr. Julian Bashir.
