Born on the Alpha Quadrant planet of New Gaul circa 2320. Miranda later became a botanist, and experienced a brief but passionate relationship with Jean-Luc Picard in 2346. They soon lost touch, and after that year Miranda gave birth to Jason, with whom she moved to Camor V in 2358. While there she cared for children orphaned by the Cardassian war, teaching them to read and care for crops. She was murdered by two men desperate for the food she carried.
