A male humanoid, in 2369, Pomet was among a team of mercenaries who attempted to steal trilithium resin from the U.S.S. Enterprise-D. The team took advantage of the ship being dry-docked for a baryon sweep at the Remmler Array.

After being disarmed by Captain Picard, Pomet died when the sweep's deadly rays caught up with him.
