Scientist from the 27th century who invented the Tox Uthat, a quantum phase inhibitor with enormous weapons potential. Fearing the device would be stolen, Dano fled to the 22nd century, where he hid the Uthat on planet Risa. Two centuries later it was found and destroyed by Jean-Luc Picard.
