Conn officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise-E, Hawk fought alongside Picard and Worf in a zero-G battle against Borg drones on the outer hull of the Enterprise. While attempting to stop the Borg from turning the ship's main deflector dish into an inter-plexing beacon, Hawk was defeated and assimilated by a drone.

Worf killed the Borg-ified Hawk when Hawk turned on Captain Picard.
