Paramount Home Entertainment continues to release the
Star Trek titles on DVD; they should be available through your local retailer such as Best Buy, Target, Blockbuster, etc. You can also purchase
Star Trek DVDs through the
Store here on STARTREK.COM.
If you are still using VHS, you can try Amazon.com or eBay.com. Be warned: production of VHS tapes has virtually ceased. For the record, all 10 movies, the complete Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Animated Series were released on VHS, along with five seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and 61 episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. Star Trek: Enterprise never appeared on VHS.
DVD provides the best option for Star Trek fans. The movies are available on DVD, with all 10 features out now in special 2-disc editions. The entire Original Series was first released on DVD, with each package containing only two episodes and no real special features. Now you can get them by separate season box sets, complete with special features. For those looking to the future, plans are underfoot to release HD-DVD/DVD hybrid discs of the Original Series, in their newly remastered form, starting the last quarter of 2007.
If you are into getting everything on DVD, you're in luck! All shows, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek: The Animated Series, are now available in season box sets.
