For legal reasons, all unsolicited submissions will now be returned unread. This applies to all movie and episode scripts, story outlines, treatments, short stories, novel manuscripts and ideas or suggestions of any nature.

The Star Trek writing staff used to accept outside script submissions — one of the only Hollywood-produced shows that utilized outside submissions — but unfortunately this is no longer the case. All story pitches to the producers of Star Trek are now by invitation only.
