You are a Starfleet Academy Cadet learning the basics of starbase security. To test your crime solving skills, a holodeck simulation of Deep Space Nine has been prepared. Under the watchful eye of Station Security Chief Odo you will explore the station and question suspects and witnesses to build your case against the one who you think is responsible for the crime.
Time is of the essence, as you have only 30 minutes to crack the case. Be judicious in your search, as the clock runs down two minutes for every trip to a new location and four minutes for every witnesses' answer. However, if you are confident enough with your research before the clock expires, you may report back to Odo and go to the brig at any time. There, face to face with the suspects, you will be allowed to ask four questions to confirm your decision and make the arrest.
Don't give up if you happen to accuse the wrong person--the simulation has several different scenarios, and witnesses never appear in the same place twice.
