Mobies Name "Star Trek: The Birds of Prey" Top Game
Gamespot Mobile and Wireless Gaming Review have named Jumbuck's "Star Trek: The Birds of Prey" as the winner of their Best Action Game award. According to the Gamespot Web site, it was a hard-fought victory in "one of the most competitive categories in mobile gaming."
"Star Trek: The Birds of Prey" is styled after classic vertical-scrolling space shooters such as "Xevious" and "Raiden," which take advantage of the vertically oriented aspect ratio of a mobile handset.
The site is complimentary towards "The Birds of Prey," calling it "a cut above," while also mentioning that the game "happens to be one of the few decent Trek-themed games in years."
Congratulations to Jumbuck Entertainment and VCP Interactive!
