Bertila Damas has a distinction in the world of Star Trek actors that few others share — she has portrayed both a Borg and a Vulcan, two of the most iconic species from the Trekverse.

In her Star Trek: Deep Space Nine appearance, she played a Vulcan Maquis gunrunner named Sakonna in the two-parter "The Maquis."

In the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Survival Instinct," Damas played Three of Nine, one of three Borg who were severed from the Collective, yet retained a telepathic link amongst themselves.

Besides her theatre work, Bertila has also appeared in numerous other television shows, including Crossing Jordan, The Division, ER, NYPD Blue and Women: Stories of Passion.
