The home planet of a species of intelligent shape-shifters. Because of fears of infiltration by Vendorian spies, the United Federation of Planets enforced a strict quarantine on this world in 2269. In 2264 interstellar trader and philanthropist Carter Winston crashed his one-man ship on this world, where he died, but not before transmitting his love for his fiancée, Anne Nored, to a Vendorian who later took his place as part of a Romulan scheme to provoke a war with the Federation. Because of the feelings for Nored the Vendorian had "inherited? from Winston, the alien rescued the Enterprise from a Romulan attack and told Nored the truth about the real Winston's fate.
