Tighe in NBC's "Emergency!" 1975

When he played Henry Janeway, the Indiana ancestor of Voyager’s captain of “11:59,” Kevin Tighe added another family of fans to those who already knew him as Roy DeSoto on NBC’s Emergency!, and more recently as Lost's Anthony Cooper, the manipulative father of John Locke.

Born Jon Kevin Fishburn in Los Angeles in 1944, Tighe acted from an early age and was first seen in The Graduate, then went on to guest star after Emergency! for years on TV series from ER and Law & Order: SVU to Numb3rs and Leverage. On the big screen his standouts include Newsies, Eight Men Out, the K-9 films, and the coach in School Ties.
