A tall, beautiful, blond humanoid woman who became the leader of a group of women living on the second planet of the Taurean system. On stardate 5483.7 (2269), Theela presided over an attempt to lure the U.S.S. Enterprise to her world for the purpose of draining the starship's male officers of their life forces. Although Theela and her people had depended upon this practice once every 27.346 years for many decades in order to survive, Theela and the other women decided to accept a Federation offer of relocation to another, less hostile planet as an alternative to this vampiric practice.
