Like his father, W. Morgan "Ira Graves" Sheppard, Mark A. Sheppard is also part of the Star Trek family, thanks to his appearance as Leucon, the father of Brunali teenager Icheb, in the Season 6 Voyager episode “Child’s Play.”
He’d had a guest spot prior to that in The X-Files, but it would be two years later amid an increasingly busy slate that Sheppard played his first two genre roles uppity smuggler Badger on Firefly—and then five more as Romo Lampkin over the run of the “new” Battlestar Galactica. A 1964 native of London, England, he has also appeared in two episodes each of Chuck and Doctor Who, and had the recurring roles of Ivan Erwich on 24, Jim Sterling on Leverage, Benedict Valda on Warehouse 13, and Crowley on Supernatural.
