Halanan wife of Professor Gideon Seyetik, Nidell possessed psychoprojective telepathic powers which she unwittingly used to create Fenna, an alter ego of herself, while Nidell was asleep. Fenna in effect acted as a means to supplement Nidell's otherwise unfulfilling marriage, but after Seyetik realized this he sacrificed himself to his stellar ignition project and made Nidell a widow, setting her "free."
