Retaya

Flaxian assassin who posed as a purveyor of perfumes, fabrics and other fine wares. Retaya was hired by the Tal Shiar to assassinate Elim Garak in 2371, but he failed to do so amidst a complicated plot involving Garak's association with Enabran Tain. Retaya was killed when his ship exploded after leaving DS9, and the Romulans readily took credit for his execution, officially citing "crimes against the Romulan Empire."
