Latimer served aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in 2267. Latimer was navigator on the Shuttlecraft Galileo. During a mission, commanded by Mr. Spock, Latimer survived the shuttlecraft's crash on Taurus II, but not the planet's large, humanoid natives.
