The commander of a Klingon battle cruiser who accused Kirk of having destroyed the I.K.S. Klothos after that vessel briefly disappeared inside the mysterious region of space known as the Delta Triangle. On stardate 0052.2 (2269), Kuri attempted to avenge the apparent destruction of the Klothos by attacking the Enterprise, only to lose track of the Federation starship when it evaded him by following the Klothos into the Delta Triangle.
