This early Federation starship is notable for its fateful stop on the planet Sigma Iotia III in 2168. The crew accidentally left behind a book entitled Chicago Mobs of the Twenties, which the highly impressionably Iotians used to initiate a new, violent society. It is presumed the Horizon was destroyed shortly after their stop on this planet.
