U.S.S. Enterprise chief engineer Geordi La Forge's mother, Captain Silva La Forge, commanded this starship and a crew of 300 consisting largely of Vulcans. In 2370, the ship and crew disappeared without a trace, and has not been seen again. This vessel was named for the Greek goddess, the wife of Zeus and Queen of the gods, Hera.
