Commander of the colony ship S.S. Mariposa when it was launched in 2123, and one of only five survivors when the ship crashed on the planet the colonists named Mariposa. Granger became one of the progenitors whose cloned descendants inhabited the Mariposa colony, and in 2365 one of his clones (named Wilson Granger) served as colony prime minister.
