According to the Christie's Catalogue, this is:
LOT 535 - DATA'S HOLOGRAM OF TASHA YAR
A hexagonal container made from clear sheet acrylic on a grey-painted
plastic base -- 3x5in. -- visual effects made this into a hologram projector that displayed an image of Tasha Yar in "The Measure of a Man" in Star Trek: The Next Generation and it later sat on a shelf in Dr. Phlox's sickbay during all four seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise
Estimate:
$200-300
Many fans recognized the holographic projector from "The Measure of a Man". Several also mentioned
"Skin of Evil" in which Tasha was represented holographically, but not using this device.
Scott, along with Chris Roberts from Shropshire, England were the first to identify the item. Linwood Mielke was the first to make the Doctor Phlox connection. Extra credit also goes to Stefanie Groener from Torino, Italy for including pictures of the item as seen in the episode! She gives "99% credit for this answer" to her friend Luca Bozzano from Genova. Elizabeth Chahin from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic pointed out that this item is not in the Star Trek Encyclopedia.
Others suggested that it was a device used to contain viruses or to train the young Odo how to shapeshift, and several thought it was the cap to the dilithium chamber matrix from "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan".
