Okay, this one was easy. Virtually every entry was correct, many of them with great detail. Thanks to all who entered.
Congratulations to Ngoh Bo Rong from Singapore for being the first one to correctly identify this item. Says Bo: "This item is a weapons pylon of the inner ring of Deep Space Nine from the series of the same name. The extended tubular disc can fire both phasers and photon torpedoes, and this feature was shown to a great extent in episodes like Way of the Warrior, Part 2.
The view of this pylon is from the center of the station outwards. At the top facing away is a tractor emitter used for maneuvering ships into dock."
Whew! Thanks Bo. Next time a catalogue needs to be written, we'll be in contact!
