A genre-defining 3rd person action/adventure set in the DS9 universe. Playing as Sisko, Kira, or Worf, you must race against time to find the ancient Red Orbs that hold the key to the Final Reckoning- and the destruction of the universe.

WILL THE FALLEN BE PLAYABLE ON A MAC?
 
 
 
Yes - absolutely. The Mac version is currently in development and expected to ship in late December 2000.
HOW LONG HAS THE GAME BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT?
 
 
 
The game was in development from December 1998 to November 2000 - so about 23 months.
WILL IT RUN WITH OPENGL AND/OR D3D?
 
 
 
Absolutely, the OpenGL and Direct3D support is excellent, as well as 3dfx/Glide.
WILL IT SUPPORT 3D SOUND?
 
 
 
Yes, the game supports A3D (1 & 2), EAX (1 & 2) , QSound and DirectSound3D.

IS THERE GOING TO BE A DEMO? WHEN?
 
 
 
Yes. We released a demo based on the full retail PC version on 12/08/00. You can download it here.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO DO A STAR TREK GAME?
 
 
 
A number of us (including the company owners) are Trek fans. However, most importantly, we saw it as a great vehicle for a fun 3rd person action adventure.
IS THE GAME COMPLETE?
 
 
 

The English-language PC version of the game was completed and sent to manufacturing on 11/13/00. It is presently available from normal retail outlets in North America and most of Europe. Localized versions of The Fallen are also available for Germany, France, Spain and other countries to be announce by Simon & Schuster Interactive.

The English-language Macintosh version of The Fallen was completed and sent to manufacturing in the USA on 07/23/01. Localized versions of Macintosh version will also be made available for Germany, France, Spain and other countries to be announce by Simon & Schuster Interactive.
