| WHO
IS THE CHARACTER THAT I PLAY IN THE GAME? |
 |
|
|
| |
| At
the outset of the game you can choose to play as Sisko,
Worf, or Kira. |
|
| WHAT'S
DIFFERENT PLAYING AS THE 3 CHARACTERS? |
 |
|
|
| |
| 1.
They fulfill different objectives within each mission
appropriate to their character. |
| 2.
Each character has a number of completely unique missions/levels
that they must complete. |
| 3.
Their default weapon of choice is different. Sisko uses
a Starfleet standard issue phaser… Kira uses a modified
Bajoran phaser (it's highly accurate and packs a punch)…
and Worf uses the Bat'leth- the two-handed Klingon sword
of honor. |
|
| HOW
MANY MISSIONS ARE THERE? |
 |
|
|
| |
| There
are 9 missions per character with an average of 3 maps
per mission. Although many of the missions take place
at the same location each character takes a different
path through the levels throughout the adventure. |
|
| WHICH

 |
|

| |
|
1.

4.
Hitherto unseen sections of the pylons and ore processing
facilities |
|
| IS
THE DEFIANT IN THE GAME? |
 |
|
|
| |
| Absolutely.
Sisko, Kira, and Worf each have a unique mission set inside
the Defiant. The design team has virtually modeled the
entire Defiant based upon the floor plans within the DS9:
Technical Manual- including many of the areas that were
never seen within the show. |
|
| HOW
MANY WEAPONS ARE THERE? |
 |
|
|
| |
| There
are 11 weapons that the player can use, each with their
own secondary-firing mode. |
|
| WHAT

|
| WHAT'S
THE STORY?
|
 |
|
|
| |
| The
Pah-wraiths - a race of exiled, all-powerful aliens -
are on the verge of returning. The keys to unleashing
and harnessing their power are three archaic Red Orbs.
The race to find the Orbs is on between you - playing
as Captain Sisko, Major Kira, or Lt. Commander Worf -
and a host of opposing forces that would use the ultimate
power to dominate the Alpha Quadrant and all of its inhabitants.
|
|
| WHO
WROTE THE STORY? |
 |
|
|
| |
| Much
of the game's story and mission progression was written
by the Collective's design team. However, The Fallen ties
into the MILLENNIUM
saga, a trilogy of paperbacks and audio books by Judith
and Garfield Reeves-Stevens , published by Pocket
Books and Simon & Schuster Audio. |
|
| WHEN
IS THE STORY IN THE DS9 TIMELINE? |
 |
|
|
| |
| The
story represents an untold chapter of Deep Space Nine,
set towards the end of the 6th season. |
|

|
| |
|
Pretty
much all of them:

8.
Gul Dukat |
| 2.
O'Brien |
9.
Kai Winn |
| 3.
Bashir |
10.
Admiral Ross |
| 4.
Jadzia Dax |
11.
Nog |
| 5.
Odo |
12.

|
| DO
YOU USE THE VOICES OF THE REAL ACTORS? |
 |
|
|
| |
|
The
following actors from the series have lent their voices
to The Fallen:
|
| 1.
Michael Dorn as "Worf" |
5.
Armin Shimerman as "Quark" |
| 2.
Nana Visitor as "Kira" |
6.
Andrew Robinson as "Garak" |
| 3.
Alexander Siddig as "Bashir" |
7.
Terry Farrell as "Jadzia Dax" |
| 4.
Rene Auberjonois as "Odo" |
|
| Two
very talented voice-actors have provided voices for the
part of O'Brien and Sisko. (NOTE: These voices are
contractually "interpretations of the characters" and
not "imitations of the voices".) |
| 1.
Kevin Richardson as "Voice of Sisko" |
2.
Michael Gough as "Voice of O'brien" |
|
| ARE
THE BORG IN IT?
|
 |
|
|
| |
| No.
However, we have introduced a race of bio-analogous marauders,
known as the Grigari. As a race, the Grigari are sociopathic
scavengers and pirates, obtaining items and knowledge
from one culture to trade with another, doing whatever
needs to be done to close a deal - from trading fairly
to mass murder. |
|
| ARE
THE DOMINION IN IT? |
 |
|
|
| |
|
Yes.
The player will have to combat the following:
|
| 1.
Jem'Hadar Soldier |
4.
Vorta Male/Female (Treacherous creatures) |
| 2.
Jem'Hadar First |
5.
A Founder/Shape-shifter infiltrator |
| 3.
Jem'Hadar Heavy Assault (A new class) |
|
|
| IS
THERE MULTIPLAYER?
|
 |
|
|
| |
| Our
primary goal was to focus on the single-player experience.
Therefore the released version of the game has no multiplayer
features. At present we do not intend to add a multiplayer
component as an add-on. |
|
| WHY
3RD PERSON?
|
 |
|
|
| |
|
Several
reasons:
|
| 1.
We wanted the player to see their cool character on screen-
who cares if you're playing Worf if you only get to see
his hand? |
| 2.
Also, we wanted to play up the navigational challenge
in the game- grabbing hold of ledges, shimmying across,
crawling through vents, etc. 3rd person is the best perspective
for this. |
| 3.
We wanted to simulate the look of the show- first person
is seldom used in television/film. |
|
| WILL
THERE BE HAND-TO-HAND/MELEE COMBAT?
|
 |
|
|
| |
| Yes
there is hand-to-hand/melee combat. In particular, Worf's
Bat'leth is a lot of fun! |
|
