One of the prominent images from "For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" (episode 65) is the large asteroid/vessel Yonada. If the asteroid looked familiar, it was because we had seen this image, although with subtle lighting differences and a different orientation of the Enterprise, in "The Paradise Syndrome" (episode 58), an earlier third-season episode.

For the Star Trek Remastered version, the design of the new remastered Yonada was inspired by actual NASA photographs of real asteroids. Of course, none of the real-life asteroids photographed by NASA's space probes were hollow, nor did they carry entire populations of aliens from a distant world! The new Yonada is also seen with the Enterprise in a slightly different perspective from the original shot. In case you're wondering, the producers of the Remastered episodes have promised us that the new asteroid for "The Paradise Syndrome" will also be different!
