In the opening shot of "Charlie X," Captain Kirk's log states that the
Enterprise is "now maneuvering to come alongside cargo vessel
Antares." The original shot only shows us the Enterprise,
but the remastered version adds the Antares NCC-501 to be consistent with
the narration.
As you can see, the Antares is similar in size
and configuration to another cargo ship, the Woden, but with warp
nacelles and a deeper mid-dorsal compartment.
