where is Canada ?

i am just curious to know the status of Canada in the star trek universe ? does it exist or was it annexed by its warmongering neighbour ?


knowing that william shatner is a born Canadian actor (i come from the same city mind you so please forgive my poor english) would he have cooperated with gene roddenberry knowing what gene had done to williams home in the storyline ?

Canada was mentioned at least once in TNG. There was a junior officer of Canadian heritage, though it was hard to tell because he wasn't wearing a flannel shirt.

Is that prejudice or a (bad) joke ? It is too damn cold in Canada (and in north-eastern USA also) rigth now, but we do not go around wearing flannel shirts !  Just many layers...


ragezOr :  I do not recall too many specific mentions of particular countries in TNG, except France of course.  I think it was a worldwide governement.  Your english is fine.

The episode of TNG the mentions Canada is "Lower Decks"


 


Canada probably isn't mentioned much because it's not a particularly relevant country. But then again, there's a ton of countries not mentioned in Star Trek so I'm not really sure why it's even Something you'd ask.
