The Borg would have to re-assimilate the changling every 16 hours though, while regenerating, the changling would revert to a gelatanous form, alowing the implants to fall out

They could contain it during regeneration.

I like it! They have maturation chambers for children, so they are definitely willing to customize to suit the customer, as it were.

And, in a worse case scenario, even if they couldn't assimilate changelings, they'd destroy them.

Couple of gravimetric torpedoes ought to do it

"Worst case scenario" for the Borg fighting the Dominion is not destroying the Founders. It's that the Founders plant their own operatives in control of the entire Borg collective.

What's more likely-- 1) that the Borg figure out a way to keep solid implants in a puddle of goo, or 2) that the Founders easily do what they always do--infiltrate and control? I say #2 is far more plausible.

So yes...the Borg could militarily defeat the Dominion after a long, difficult struggle. But the Founders would probably end up in the control of the whole show.

The only way to take command of the collective would be to impersonate the queen. Maybe the borg also have a way of detecting changelings.

The Borg don't necessarily have to assimilate the changelings, as I said above. Rather, they could easily destroy them.

Also, how do you infiltrate a collective of one mind?

There might be a problem with that. If a changeling shapeshifts into the form of a tricorder, can it be used as a tricorder? If it could not, changelings could not really impersonate the borg queen

By that, I mean my theory a few things above. You might wind up with a stalemate.

The borg probably would destroy the founders, if they had a reason to.

It's Obvious That The Borg Would Eventually Overpower The Dominion; However, The Jem'Hadar Would Make It Very Costly.

Would a borg cube explode if suicide-rammed by a jemhadar warship? If yes, I think a war between the dominion and borg could be fought to a stalemate.

That would have been a good weapon in the dominion war. convince the romulans to supply cloaks to install on runnabouts, set up a remote control and load the runnabout with explosives, cloak it. you bring it allong with your fleet, cloaked and ram it into a dominion battleship or cardassian vessel

To the First Part:

A Borg Cube can still function when about 75% of it is destroyed, so you'd need a LOT of suicide runs for that.

To the Second Part:

That would use up a lot of runabouts! Maybe shuttlepods would work instead, no point in being warp-capable if it's just for a kamikaze run.

Trilithium resin should work, starships create it as a byproduct of matter/antimater reaction.
