Wonder what happens of the Trek Universe now that Kirk is the automatically Captain of the first Enterprise what events happen after Kirk and 75 years in the future. Would there be a Enterprise E? Did the Enterprise-C fought to the death? Did Praxis still blew up causing the Klingons into a Peace Treaty at Khitomer? What thoughts can you think of?

Theoretically, they will not exist.

However, I hope the new book series will continue.  Although medicines have enabled people to live healthier lives and remain productive longer, we are stating to read about the aging of our heroes and the developments of time in our beloved Star Trek universe.

Eventually, our favorites will retire and be replaced by a new generation of eager, active explorers.

Maybe not exist as we know them now. But Picard, Janeway and Sisko might be living doing different things in their lives

Wonder if there will be a david marcus (son of kirk and carol markus), if not and the klingons still take prisoners of saavik and young spock on the genisis planet, one will not survive. Also, the empire is now 49 birds of prey short.

What I dont get is why starfleet does not blow up romulus. No romulus, no nero. No nero, no alternate reality. perfect eveything restored to the prime timeline

Well I think they would exist however differently. Will there be an Enterprise A (Constitiution Refit) in this unvierse? Or will there be an Enterprise A (Excelsior)? Or something else? Will Spock ask Kirk to escort Chancellor Gorkon? Will the Enterprise C still be able to help seal wounds between the Federation and Klingon Emprire? Will Picard be an archelogoist in this time line? I really don't care I want to stick with the Prime U!

I think the only things that need improving in the alternate reality are shields and warp capabillity, considering the onscreen warp monitor showed that they did a max of warp 1.5, and couldn't outrun vengence.

one also could wonder if the 1701 enterprise would have been destroyed at the genessis planet

Khan was the reason there was an enterprise A. After the battle with Khan (in the prime timeline), the enterprise (1701, no bloody a, b, c, or d) had to be refited, instead, it was decomissioned. In JJ's timeline, the enterprise was refited instead of being decomissioned, who knows, maybe the A will be excelsior refit (if there is one)

Actually, the Enterprise in JJ's films is the second constitution-like ship to be commisioned by Starfleet in recent yers. He first was commanded by Robert April, and the firt officer was a young Marcus.

THis is documented in the comic book tie-in with STID.

according to the "offical" [Paramount/CBS] canon policy for Star Trek.........if it is not seen/heard/mentioned in a live action production, then it is not canon, in other words it didnt happen.

Comics, novels, games have not been canon by the policy......the film writters have tried to claim that anything they write is canon, but no other trek writer has had that kind of powerin the past.
