I am reading an interesting book that is not Star Trek related (per se), so I thought it belonged here.  It is a "conspiracy" book to some people, but it contains a lot of alleged information and some interesting speculations.

It is called Reich Of The Black Sun, by Joseph P. Farrell (Kempton, IL:  Adventures Unlimited Press, 2004), and it deals with Nazis and how they tried to combine science and high technology with the occult.  A lot of interesting diagrams and photographs are included.

One interesting quandry is whether some of the advanced aircraft people have seen--especially since the 1940s--were made by Nazi scientists (or their Allied inheritors) or by extraterrestrials.  Something to think about, heh?

Perhaps we Trekkers could take advantage of some of these items!

Interesting Miklamar...  I've actually read and watched quite abit about the subject and it's fascinating to consider.  If you enjoyed that book, I would encourage you to research a couple other items that you'd find interesting...

1.  The Hunt for Zero Point - by Nick Cook  Focuses on antigravity research and development throughout WWII and beyond...  and the massive military and intelligence infrastructure that may exist around it....

2.  Die Glocke - Try to find documentation on "The Bell".  I've got a single hardcopy of an old article (about 10 pages) but it's hard to find information.  Centers around German efforts to develop other forms of propulsion that also enabled some forms of time travel.

3.  Viktor Schauberger - Worked extensively with implosion engine design specifically to replace internal combustion duing the 30's and up through the 50's

Most people think I'm kinda on the fringe when I bring these things up - but it's always fun to talk about the possibilities...  not sure if I believe any of it, but the possibilities are fun to explore....

I've read a book or two about Schauberger, and Nick Cook's book has been recommended.  In Farrell's book, he discusses the Bell--and the amazingly similar, but equally mysterious, Kecksburg Acorn.  If you're old enough (like me!), you might remember Robert Stack's talking about the Acorn on Unsolved Mysteries.  It allegedly flew from Canada, changed course, and then crashed in Pennsylvania.  Authorities claimed it was a meteorite or something, but natural objects do not change course.  Then government security people allegedly came there and secreted it away.

There's also an interesting book--its name and title elude me now--about post-war Nazi bases in the polar regions and in South America.  I hope to check it out soon.

Yes I've also read alot about the Kecksberg incident and the device that crashed in the woods.  Interestingly enough, the physical descriptions match the descriptions of the Nazi Bell almost exactly, however it would've seemed too samll to carry much more than one or two people (as we understand it's size today).

If you know the name of Farrell's book, or the second book you mentioned below - send them along.  I'd be interesting in reading up...

And PS - I'm old enough to remember Karl Malden as the host....  of course he alone freaked me out so I couldn't sleep at night after watching...
