So since Halloween is upon us-i thought we should make a list of eps that give you the creeps!

My suggestions are:

Movie: First Contact

TNG: Genesis, Violations, Schisms, Descent, Clues, Starship Mine

DS9: Empok Nor, Invasive Proceedures

VOY: The Haunting of Deck Twelve, Collective, The Thaw, Faces, Scorpion, Night, Juggernaught, Equinox, Revulsion, Scientific Method, Waking Moments, One, Ex Post Facto, Macrocosm

There was an ENT ep that involved an automated spacedock that i remember being creepy...but i cant remember the name...anyone know?

Also Enterprise Fight or Flight episode. As I recall Hoshi gives off one terrific scream when they are investigaing an alien ship and find some dead bodies aboard. There is also that one episode on Next Generation where Picard and Data return to the Enterprise by shuttle and find the crew has de-evolved into earlier life forms. Picard also gives off a such a scream that I jumped sky high the first time I saw this episode. And that was because a half-arachnid Barclay suddenly appeared.

Also on Voyager's Scopion episode Harry Kim was a good screamer. To this day I remember his face and his scream from that episode when he was being attacked by that new alien Species 8472.

Yes Scorpion allways gave me the creeps-if the borg are terrified of something, you should be too!  They did a great job with that disabled cube being as creepy as possible-like a haunted house from your nightmares!

That TNG ep where they devolve is Genisis....

Empok Nor has a terrific jump scare in it!  I am a horror film junkie and also love haunted attractions this time of year and that made me jump!  Very creepy ep!  well done!

What!? No mention of the TOS horror classic "Catspaw?"

I'm not surprised Voyager gets the most episodes on the list. I always thought the series had a horror show vibe to it. That blob 'o' Borg in "Scorpion" was brilliant!

LOL-yeah Voy is my fave series and i never realized it was such a horror show until i gave it some thougt for this list!

Well as a die hard trekkie i am ashamed to say that i havent seen every TOS ep...i have seen many on TV in re-runs, but am only now making my way through the series in order on Netflix-but i can only move so fast doing that since my boyfriend wants to watch them too.  I think i made it through all of DS9 on my own in the time it took us to get through TOS season one, LOL.  we have busy lives and other things that we do for fun/relaxation (old timey radio shows are the big time killer).  We did watch TAS first...but that didnt seem to take long....

The one that I thought was the "creepiest" was TNG: Frame of Mind.

I really didn't find any of the movies particularly creepy or scary in that aspect so I will skip the movie segment.

TOS: Catspaw, And The Children Shall Lead, What Are Little Girls Made Of?, Turnabout Intruder

TNG: Conspiracy, The Child, Frame of Mind, Genesis, Remember Me, Schisms, The Royale

DS9: Empok Nor, Move Along Home, Things Past, The Darkness and The Light

Voyager: Macrocosm, The Thaw, Memorial, Faces, Threshold, Vis a Vis

Enterprise: Dead Stop, Regeneration. I can't really think of any more from Enterprise that felt creepy to me.

The TNG episode "Night Terrors" is one nobody mentioned yet. However, my favorite scary Star Trek episode is "Empok Nor" from DS9.

I loved the one in 'next gen' we're various crew members were being 'abducted' and the 'recreation' of the aliens involved became a kind of 'piece by piece' tracking of said crew members experiences, quite creepy AND in keeping with todays abductee reports......

Agreed on both counts. Those were the first two episodes that came to my mind before even looking at this thread.

I felt uncomfortable with the TNG episodes in which some superior being(s) took control of the Enterprise and made the crew do things against their will.  There were about 3 or 4 I remember, but I don't recall the names at the moment.
